Product Descriptions:
It is our pleasure to introduce a recently launched product series, namely
Armored Fiber Patch Cords, which provide users with unprecedented protection
to prevent their patch cords from being damaged by careless handling or
rat bites. It is particularly useful for lengthy patch cords, and extremely
useful for those network operators or users who do not tolerate connection
disruptions. In addition, the costs of protecting lengthy patch cords
are greatly reduced.
Unlike ordinary patch cords, protection of the fiber core inside an Armored Fiber Patch Cord is done by a steel spiral tube and steel shield along the whole length of the patch cord cable to address the problem of damages due to over pulling or undesirable side pressure on the patch cords during and after installation. Hence, it would not be easy to cause damage to the fiber core itself by normal operations or rat bites. External diameter of the patch cord cable is still kept at 3.0mm regardless of the added protection.
